Central Union will make a fresh beginning, this week, when we welcome the Reverend David Hirano to be our Interim Senior Minister. We share some good history with him, so our expectations are the best, and our hearts are open to the new things God can create in this place.
As I change seats at the staff table, I celebrate the life we have shared in the past six months. I believe we have all learned important lessons about the strength of this congregational family and the relationships that prosper both work and worship. My warmest thanks for your support and friendship and leadership, and for all that you have done, separately and together, to model a faithful, hopeful way of being the church.
