CONTACT INFORMATION AND DIRECTIONSCentral Union Church is prominently located at the corner of Punahou and South Beretania streets in the Makiki section of Honolulu. Our address is 1660 South Beretania Street in Honolulu. By City Bus from Waikiki:The #2, #13, and "B" Express buses from Waikiki will go up Kuhio and Kalakaua avenues to the stop on South Beretania Street in front of Foodland. After you depart the bus turn right and walk about one block. The church campus will be on the opposite corner. If you are not certain which stop to depart at ask the bus driver to call out your stop. Bus fare is currently $1.50 one-way for adults. By City Bus from Downtown Honolulu:The #1, #2, #13, and "B" Express buses from Downtown will go east or Diamond Head-bound on South King Street. From the #1, depart at the intersection of South King and Punahou and walk two blocks mauka (towards the mountains) on the Diamond Head side (east side) of Punahou Street. When you get to South Beretania Street cross and you'll be at the church campus. If you are not certain which stop to depart at ask the bus driver to call out your stop. Bus fare is $1.50 one-way for adults. From the #2, #13, and "B" Express buses depart at the first stop on Kalakaua Avenue after the bus turns from South King Street. Walk two blocks mauka (towards the mountains) to South Beretania Street and turn right. The church will be one block from there. If you are not certain which stop to depart at ask the bus driver to call out your stop. Bus fare is $1.50 one-way for adults. By car or taxi from Waikiki:Turn right onto Kalakaua Avenue (one way) and stay on the left lane. Take the first left turn you can make (it does not matter which one). Go straight on that road until you reach Ala Wai Boulevard (one way) and turn left. Take the first right onto McCully Street, which crosses the Ala Wai Canal. When you reach South Berentania Street (by shell gas station) turn left. This is two streets after the intersection with South King Street. By car or taxi from the H-1 Freeway:Take exit 23, the Punahou Street exit, and stay on the right lane. As you exit the ramp, you will come to a light. Turn right onto Punahou Street.
