Since January 2001, a hot meal has been served once per month at “The Banquet” worship service
for the homeless who live in our community.
Each ministry of the church is encouraged to serve
one meal a year on the last Thursday of an assigned month.

Those who have shared in worship, fellowship and a meal
at “The Banquet” agree that it is a very special time together.
Community Ministry is excited about this opportunity
to bring new people to the table to share in the experience.
We have worked hard to cultivate a church family in the park that emphasizes the equality of all participants,
CUC members and park residents, in the eyes of God.
To this end we all worship together,
call each other by name, and eat together.
While church ministry members will help serve the meal,
you will also be welcomed as a guest at the table.
We ask that you join us with the humble spirit of
a guest attending a new church for the first time.
