Interim Minister
We would like to welcome our new Interim Minister, the Rev. Dr. David Hirano and his wife Sandra to Central Union Church. David’s tenure commenced February 1, 2012. David is not a stranger to our Church as he served as our Interim Minister a few years ago. Please welcome him and Sandra when you see them on campus.
Senior Minister Search Committee
The Council was fortunate to have many people interested in serving on this committee and we thank you all. After due consideration of the qualities needed to serve and to ensure a broad cross-section of our church community, the Council has selected the members of the Senior Minister Search Committee. They are: Evelyn Hao, Scott Ballentyne, John Jacobson, Kent Reinker, Gregory Sato, Francis Sapigao, Bert Turner, Elspeth Kerr, Eloise Lee, Jane Nagel, May Oshiro and Ruth Stepulis. I have appointed Evelyn Hao to chair this committee.
This committee has a long road ahead. Please give them your support.
